Abstract

This paper is focused on the analysis and reduction of zero sequence currents which appear in multiterminal DC links based on Voltage Source Converters (VSCs). A zero sequence current may flow between the VSCs due to the absence of the coupling transformer, in spite of this application is intended for three-phase three-wire system. The proposed solutions to mitigate this issue have been tested through simulation and experimental results.
