Smart Grid demonstrational panel for educational purpose

Abstract

Nowadays the Smart Grid phenomenon pervades

the power industry. This is a summary notion that includes all

the up-to-date Info Communication Technology developments

that raises the reliability and promotes the greener energy

production. In the education all the new aspects must be

introduced that is why a demonstrational wall panel is planned

to show the operation of the island operation, Load-Generation

balance control, Audio- and radio frequency ripple control,

Smart meter, Power Quality monitoring, etc. This tool fits in the

concept of laboratory that shows all the non traditional power

devices and prepared by the students at Obuda University.
