Abstract

The paper presents a low cost pulsc-widthmodulated Unificd Power Filter/Capacitive Compensation(UPFCC) schee.The unified filter-action combined withcapacitive compensation result in increased power quality andenergy conservation for a wide class of temporal, inrush-type.switch mode power supply and other nonlinear loads.
