Considerations regarding testing of low voltage equipment endowed with contacts from composite materials type CMC

Abstract

Within paper there are presented tests performed on low voltage equipment endowed with contacts from composite materials type CMC and are described the electric circuits for tests at over-load and short-circuit currents according to actual IEC standard 60947 [1]. Also are presented experiments performed on low voltage contactor with CMC type contacts comparatively with those from classical copper-silver contacts
