Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the ex change of incandescent light bulbs by fluorescent ones and old coolers by compact coolers class A Procel Stamped in Consumer Units with low income, who brings besides the increased energy efficiency, positive impact on consumers lives. However, when observing the effects of fluorescent lighting on electric power quality systems where they are applied, there is the appearance of unwanted harmonic distortion on the network. This paper examines the process of replacing the proposed system and veri fies the impact on reducing energy consumption and power quality.
