Abstract

This paper deals with the solar trackers for photovoltaic applications. The solar trackers for photovoltaic system assure that the highest possible share of the available solar radiation reaches the surface of the photovoltaic modules. The electric drive which enables tracking is considered as the loss of the energy produced in the photovoltaic system. The electric power consumption of the photovoltaic tracking system will be written as a function of the angle change.
