This paper proposes a direct power control scheme
for doubly-fed induction generator for variable speed wind power
generation. Using a stator flux decoupling and deadbeat control loops
the algorithm calculates the rotor voltage vector to be supplied to the
rotor in order to eliminate the active and reactive power errors that
can achieve high accuracy and fast dynamic power response based
on the estimated stator flux, the active and reactive power and their
errors. Simulations results are carried out for validation of the digital
controller operation.
