Abstract

This paper presents a model explaining a way to obtain the energy produced by a Grid-Connected Photovoltaic Systems (GCPVS) in different parts of the Spanish geography. The GCPVS are one of the most important applications of solar photovoltaic energy. The model presented in this work, in addition to losses in system components (panels, inverter and wires), takes into account the effect of temperature losses and accumulated dust and dirt on the photovoltaic modules. To validate the model results have been presented and compared with the actual data of a photovoltaic plant located in TudelaSpain
