Abstract

The paper compares the voltage sag ridethrough response of three current control methods applied to a voltage source inverter (VSI): traditional hysteresis, constant frequency (Dead-Beat) and hysteresis vector control with predictive algorithm.

In the analysis of these control methods it has been taken into account: response speed, current error deviation and total harmonic distortion during the sag, finding out the most suitable, depending on the required characteristics.
