Abstract

The intensive development of renewable energy has led to the creation of a new type of hybrid power plants, which include several sources of energy and energy storage devices. The joint work of several different types of electric power generators requires careful study of operating experience in order to optimize their work. This paper is devoted to a detailed analysis of the effectiveness of the classical hybrid power station Gorona del Viento, located on the island of El Hierro (Canary Islands).
